Here's another great exhibit of the
F.A.C. and it runs May 8th thru June 8th, 2013. It's titled "Milagros" and the artist reception is Sunday, May 19, 2013. My piece "Behold the Child" is a part of this exhibit at the

Milagros are small metal figures used to thank Christian saints for
fulfilling requests in time of need. The custom of creating Milagros
accompanied the Spanish as they arrived in the Americas and continues to
be a part of folk culture throughout rural areas of Spain as well as in
Central and South American and parts of North America. In Spanish, the
word milagros literally means miracle or surprise.
