Blue World/Green World includes 34 pieces by 16 of our members. Works for this exhibit range from representational to impressionistic to abstract. They are all references to the natural world, exploring the real world of sea, sky, field and trees as well as the metaphorical world, the limitless possibilities and the wonders of the here and now. This exhibit promotes serenity and groundedness. Members of the Fiber Artists Coalition employ a variety of innovative materials and techniques in the creation of quilt art with a distinctively contemporary edge. Some members have published books about their artistic processes and are in demand as teachers and lecturers. Many exhibit their work in juried group and solo exhibitions internationally.
