Greetings All,
More love from my ice dye projects and I am loving them all!!! The piece below is titled "Skittles - 1. It's 2 yards of lightly stretch denim that was ice dyed with Rit Dye in powder form with Yellow, Kelly Green, and Red.
Below is a dolman short sleeve tunic created from the cloth above.
Below is Skittles-2 and this is a two yards piece that's a bit more colorful and I have yet to cut it. It too was created with the stretch denim and ice dyed with Rit Dye powder in Red, Kelly Green, and Yellow. I love the patterns that formed in this piece that was shibori folded and the dye was spotted on the ice.
The final piece is a piece that was ice over dyed and then created into a tunic with the two yards of Kona cotton.

Cloth Works updates.
Greetings All,
I have been trying to ice dye and Red/Black/Green piece and here are my two results. Both are cotton and were 1st dyed Apple Green 45 with Rit liquid dye then dyed with Rit powder dye in Wine and Black.
I love this fan design that I achieved by shibori folding (below). This has been a great learning curve for sure.

Cloth Works update...
Greetings All,
I have spent the last week doing some "Ice Dyeing" and I have been loving it. This piece is a part of a series of pieces that I dyed with Rit Dye in the color of Teal 4 in powder form. The piece below on the right was done in a folded shibori style that I was not happy with and decided to over dye it with the ice and more of the powdered dye. I love the pooling that the ice does and adds more texture to the cloth.
The piece below is the 1st piece that I created with the ice dye technique and I am loving the whole process thanks to Rit Dye.
