Quilt With a sense of Place.

Here is a wonderful article in the New York Times of an exhibit in the Oakland, CA area by some amazing quilters.  The piece below is titled “Trail Blazers,” by Marion Coleman, was inspired by the annual parade held by the Oakland Black Cowboy Association.
