This is an update on what I have done thus far on my latest collaboration. I have added some very colorful strips that where pieced by Michele Hardman. I thought that these colors went very well with what was painted by my guess and they enhance the overall idea of it being a collaboration. In my mind they (strips) represent trees. The next couple of weeks I will quilt and embellish.

Collaborative Landscape - the piece of the week.
Greetings All,
I had some sister/friends stop by a couple of weeks ago to dye/paint fabrics and as a part of this event they had to contribute to this whole cloth piece (right). The talented 3 where, Felicia Grant Preston , Mary Scott-Boria, and Deborah Norwood. They painted, stamped, and rolled fabric paints/dyes to the hand dyed fabric that I supplied.
The new work is a part of my "Collaboration Project" that I started last year with the children that live next door and this time I asked adults to participate. I will also include some fabrics that were given to me by Michele Hardman and this will extend my "Collaborative Landscape".
